Box Rental Agreement

1. Introduction and Agreement

1.1. Welcome. These Box Rental Agreement & Service Terms (“Agreement”) govern your use of the rental services provided by Boxyfy (Australia) (“Company,” “we,” “our,” “us”).

1.2. Application. This Agreement applies to the rental of reusable moving boxes, wheel skates, labels, marker pens, and all associated materials (collectively, the “Rental Items”) ordered through our website, boxyfy.com.au.

1.3. Binding Contract. By completing a booking on our website, you (“Customer,” “you,” “your”) confirm your understanding and acceptance of this Agreement. This action forms a binding legal contract between you and the Company.

2. Rental Items

2.1. Description. The Rental Items provided by the Company may include, but are not limited to:

  • Reusable, moving boxes;
  • Dolley for box mobility;
  • Two in one Trolley;
  • Manual Trolley;
  • Mattress protective cover (differing sizes);
  • Textile 240L bag;
  • TV cargo box (differing sizes);
  • Disposable labeling materials; and
  • Zip ties.


2.2. Order Verification. The specific quantity and type of Rental Items included in your order will be detailed in the order confirmation email sent to you. It is your responsibility to verify that the delivery matches your order confirmation before accepting it. Any discrepancies must be reported to us immediately, prior to accepting delivery.

3. Rental Period

3.1. Term. The rental period (“Rental Period”) commences on the scheduled delivery date selected during your booking and confirmed in your order confirmation email. A minimum of one week.

3.2. Conclusion of Term. The Rental Period concludes only when the Rental Items are physically returned to our possession and we have confirmed they are in good working condition.

3.3. Early Termination. The Company reserves the right to cancel this Agreement and retrieve the Rental Items at any time if the Customer is found to be misusing the items, violating any term of this Agreement, or acting in a manner that jeopardizes the safety or condition of the Rental Items.

4. Financial Terms

4.1. Payment. Full payment for the rental and associated services is required in advance. We require a valid credit card to secure your booking. Failure to provide full payment will result in the cancellation of your order and non-delivery of the Rental Items.

4.2. Rates and Fees.

  • All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are exclusive of GST.
  • A fee of $49 will apply for any additional delivery or collection attempts required due to your unavailability at the scheduled time.
  • Deliveries outside our standard service zone (as defined on our website) will be subject to a surcharge, to be quoted upon application.
  • No refunds or credits are provided for Rental Items that are delivered but not used.

4.3. Security Deposit. A security deposit may be required prior to delivery. This deposit will be refunded in full, provided the Rental Items are returned on time, undamaged, clean, and all outstanding amounts have been settled.

4.4. Late Payments. Overdue payments may result in interest charges, late fees, suspension of services, and/or cancellation of your rental. We may also require the immediate return of all Rental Items.

5. Use and Care of Rental Items

5.1. Customer Responsibilities. You agree to:

  • Use and care for the Rental Items responsibly, as if they were your own property.
  • Store them in a safe, clean, and dry environment.
  • Use them only for their intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws.
  • Not sub-lease, sell, or otherwise profit from the Rental Items.
  • Keep them away from children and not allow them to be used as toys.
  • Follow all manufacturer and Company instructions and safety warnings.


5.2. Acknowledgment of Risk. You acknowledge that you use the Rental Items at your own risk. The Company is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from the misuse of the Rental Items or failure to follow instructions

6. Delivery, Collection, and Returns

6.1. Process. We will deliver the Rental Items to your specified address. At delivery, you or an authorized adult (18+) must inspect and sign for the items. This signature confirms acceptance of the items in satisfactory condition. You grant us a limited right to enter the delivery/collection address to perform these services.

6.2. Your Responsibility Upon Delivery. Once delivered to your nominated address, you assume full responsibility for the Rental Items, including any loss or theft, even if they are left unattended per your instructions.

6.3. Definition of Return. Rental Items are only considered “returned” when they are collected by us and confirmed to be in good condition. Lost, stolen, or damaged items are not considered returned until their full replacement value has been paid.

7. Loss, Damage, and Late Returns

7.1. Liability. You are fully liable for the replacement cost of any lost, stolen, or damaged Rental Items (excluding fair wear and tear and the use of disposable labels).

7.2. Late Returns. If the Rental Items are not available for collection on the scheduled end date, you will be charged for additional rental time at the standard weekly rate, with a minimum charge of one week. If items are not made available for collection within two weeks of the scheduled end date, you will be charged the full replacement value.

7.3. Damage and Cleaning. You are responsible for returning the Rental Items in a clean and serviceable condition. We may charge fees for excessive cleaning, repair, or replacement due to damage beyond normal wear and tear. Do not attempt to repair items yourself; notify us immediately of any malfunction.

8. Replacement Values

You agree to the following replacement costs:

  • Reusable Moving Box: $35 per box
  • Dolley: $125 per Dolley
  • Mattress protective covers all $25
  • TV Cargo Box 65inch $650
  • TV Cargo Box 75inch $850
  • TV Cargo Box 85 inch $1100
  • Manual trolley $55
  • Two in one trolley $550
  • Textile 240L bag $35
  • Stair climber $2900

9. Cancellations and Refunds

9.1. Cancellation by Customer.

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of delivery will incur a cancellation fee of 25% of the total rental fee (delivery fees will be refunded).
  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@boxyfy.com.au and are only effective upon our confirmation.

9.2. General. All refunds are processed in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

10. General Provisions

10.1. Credit Authorization. We may perform credit card pre-authorizations and, if necessary, deny service or require additional payment methods.

10.2. Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to re-supplying the services or refunding the amount you paid for the services in question. This Agreement does not exclude, restrict, or modify any of your non-excludable Statutory Rights under the ACL.

10.3. Governing Law. This Agreement is governed by the laws  Victoria, Australia.
